Happy Tuesday!  Week 1 of 12 :).  Got Belly Fat?  Get Rid of IT!   

Goals are possible and so is achieving them!  For some reason, people are always initially visually attracted to an individual.  While there is no set body type and beauty is in the eye of the beholder, most often we as human beings will look at a fit person vs. an unfit person and say, "Hey, if only I could do x more push-ups".  Don't misunderstand me, your personality is what makes you beautiful, don't ever forget that.  I was just discussing with my mom the other day - there are healthy overweight people and unhealthy skinny people.  Skinny doesn't equal healthy or beautiful.  It all depends on what YOU want to achieve, what YOU find attractive, and what YOUR goals are.  I added some pictures above of men and women that I find visually appealing for goal seeking purposes.   

Today is the day to change.  You have a choice. You can either sit around and wait for things to happen or you can go out there and get them.  Chances are if you "wait" around you will be waiting forever. With that, let's make a short term goal today.  No Excuses!  I want everyone to make a journal, a log, a blog, whatever it may be and write your goal down. I mean it, I am going to hold you accountable to your goal and vice versa, I will give you weekly updates on my goal.

My short term goal is to lose all of my belly fat, I have always wanted abs.  I almost achieved them once, but almost doesn't count.  So, I am going to give myself 12 weeks to reduce my belly fat.  Yes, although many of you don't really want to see it, I am going to give you a pic of my stomach at the before stage, in the middle and at the end of week 12.  The long term goal of achieving abs will be next.  What are your short-term fitness goals?  Share with me.
