Good day. If anyone has a sweet-tooth this post is a must-read! I have a sweet tooth and I am not afraid to admit it. I've mentioned it a couple times before. Cookies and chocolate are my weakness. I stay away from buying these items because when I do, I eat way too much. I do occasionally have a chocolate bar. However, rather than having them on a regular basis, I have them once in awhile. On a positive note, always choose to eat clean and healthy. Once you get used to it, it becomes "easy" and you begin to crave healthy foods.
I took a trip to CVS a couple of weeks ago and fell upon something that sparked my attention. A new candy that is not made like the usual candy - it's UNREAL. With our food label watching we should know now that sugars are hidden and the first item on the label is the ingredient that is present most in the item. Well this candy holds no secrets. It is made with real cane sugar. Cane sugar is said to hold less calories, carbs, and no fat than "corn syrup" or regular "sugar". But remember, everything in moderation.
I have yet to taste one. If anyone has tried Unreal, please share. The exciting news is that this candy contains NO hidden sugar, no corn syrup, no hydrogenated oils, gluten free..... It sounds, UNREAL or "unjunked" as they would call it. A typical bars nutritional ingredients include: 200 calories, 16 grams of sugar, 11 grams of fat, 6 grams of protein and NO hidden ingredients!
