Thursday Spotlight: Living with Mental Illness

Hello.  While this is not what I normally discuss, I would like to recognize mental illness today.  It is a topic that individuals do not generally discuss openly however, many suffer from a mental illness at some point in their lives.  

It helps to speak to about how you are feeling, to someone that can relate to you and offer constructive advice. This will ultimately allow one to feel better. When I came across the site that I am about to share, I felt proud of its author.  She had the courage to share her feelings and thoughts with the world, letting them know that they are not alone.  Very expressive; a truly awesome way to share!

People suffer in their own way, they will not get better over night or when a loved one expects them to get better.  They must be ready to take steps and seek help.  I personally do not suffer from depression, however, I know all about anxiety and panic attacks.  I also know individuals who suffer from depression.  It is not an easy experience, however, always remember - "Impossible is Nothing" ~ Nike.

Also remember - exercise helps ones physical and mental health!
