I am fortunate that my children love fruit. I must be honest and admit, I am very picky when it comes to fruit. I prefer grapes, bananas, cherries; very simple fruits. My son loves every type of fruit: mangoes, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, kiwi (all anti-oxidants).
My children will endlessly eat fruit. I've purchased 4 1/2 pounds of clementines and they were no longer with us within days. Being that I am going to start insanity on Monday (if it ever arrives); I asked my daughter to write this post for us as I need to change my eating habits. I asked her a simple question: Why do you love fruit?
My favorite fruits are grapes and apples. Sometimes I like to make my family fruit kabobs. One day I was looking around and saw kabob sticks in the cabinet. And..so I was thinking of shish kabobs and found the fruit and decided to make them.
I cut up different fruit and put it on the sticks. As a surprise I made a yogurt dip to use with it also. I cut up bananas, oranges grapes and strawberries.
I love fruit because I think it tastes good. I love fruit because it is healthy. I love to dip my apples in peanut butter. My parents make me take one fruit to school as a snack everyday.
