"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." I'm sure you recognize that quote from one of the greatest movies ever and if you don't...shame on you. Ferris was right, life does move pretty fast and it just picks up speed every day. Between work, cleaning, shopping, cooking, laundry and kids who has time to go to the gym? Research has proven that one child is capable of stealing at least 4-20 hours from you each and every day. It was my own research but still.
So where does one find time to train? Truth is you don't find it you make it. How much time you make is directly related to just how bad you want it. It's not always feasible to squeeze in a trip to the gym which is why its a good idea to have some items at the house that lets you improvise. My personal items are a pull up bar, resistance bands (good ones), dumbbells and my body. There is a plethora or two of bodyweight exercises to be found on YouTube alone never mind the ones you can come up with on your own.
So the next time you can't squeeze in your two hour trip to the gym, stay home and get creative with your training instead of wallowing in self pity or binging on Doritos.
