Not every female is fortunate enough to bare a child or reproduce.  Many know and understand the basics of reproduction through basic sexual education classes and or biology classes.  According to the  Merriam Webster's Dictionary, reproduction is the process in which plants and animals produce offspring.  In humans, in order to do so, a healthy female egg must be fertilized by a male sperm.  Both men and women experience fertility issues being unable conceive.

On a positive note, there are various options for couples to conceive a child.  The one in which we will focus on today is female egg donation.  The female egg donation process can be beneficial for both the donor and the potential carrier; first it is essential to learn more about the egg donation process

The female egg donation process is an intricate process.  Potential egg recipients are able to request certain criteria and egg donors are given an extensive background check.  The background check consists of a lengthy questionnaire which covers medical, psychological, social, educational, and other key areas about the donor.

The female egg donation process is detailed and lengthy.  There are various qualifications the female egg donor must meet.  Briefly reviewing the New York University (NYU) egg donation process, I learned that the egg donor has to fall within a particular age group and be a non-smoker.  The donor also receives compensation during the process.
