The Importance of Supplemental Health Insurance

The Importance of Supplemental Health Insurance

by D. Arevalo

Good Morning.  Hope everyone is well, and I do mean that literally.  Working in the medical  field for over ten plus years, I am extremely familiar with the importance of health insurance. Health insurance is so important  that it supports the old adage, "It is better to be safe, than to be sorry".   Extra safe!  Insurance companies, especially those that are state or governmental assisted cover only the basics or a minimal amount for services.  Furthermore, most insurance companies cover medical services that are "usual and customary" meaning the average rate a procedure or service costs according to the geographic location and other factors.  At times this leads to a patient balance.

Why should those struggling to make ends meet pay such high medical costs?  They shouldn't, they should seek supplementary insurance. The most affected population are those on governmental and state sponsored insurances such as Medicare.  For more information about Medicare and Medicare supplementary insurance visit Medicare online today.

Supplementary insurance can provide extra health insurance coverage and peace of mind. When you visit a medical provider, visit with Medicare supplement insurance.  It will help cover patient balances, coinsurance, and deductibles; leaving your money  where it belongs.
