Identical Situation...Diverse Views Part One

Welcome. Two individuals could look at the same situation and reflect on them in diverse ways. The idea for this post actually came to me a couple of weeks ago. At that point, I was pondering over what examples to present to the audience. I have decided to present the topic in two parts: Fitness Part I and Relationships Part II.
Please note the situations are fictional and used solely as examples.
Fitness Part I
Gabriela and Joan haven't been exercising for over one month. They both are seeking motivation and drive to begin their active routines again. Both women were exercising at least five days per week. This stopped suddenly for both as they had to tend to other priorities.
Gabriela woke up one morning and decided this is "IT". No more excuses! I feel tired and moody. I felt so much better when exercising. I am going to start slowly and ease back into my routine. Hmmm, when should I start? Today, it is! Today, I am going to push myself and ignore any negative feelings that get in my way. I am going to focus on my goals and push forward. I know I have been dealing with some difficult situations, however, I will no longer let them distract me. Life is good!

Joan woke up and decided to go back to sleep without eating. My life is miserable, filled with problems and pain. I can't exercise, I have no energy. No one supports me, no one cares. I don't even care! If they don't care, why should I? I do not have any time anyways. Everyone is holding me back. I always have bad days!! Life Sucks!

Your attitude could effect how you feel. If you implant in your mind that you cannot do something...most likely you will not be able to do it. The scenarios above are self-explanatory. While Gabriela is having a hard time if she keeps pushing herself, she will have only good days. Joan has given up and needs to change her attitude. When you are feeling down, you must find a way to reflect and release the emotions in a positive manner. Exercise is a perfect way. Don't think you have enough energy? Mistake! Exercise provides us with more energy!!
