Beautiful Skin Secrets

Good morning beautiful people. This past Friday, I was watching Good Morning America on ABC and the segment with supermodel Iman caught my eye. Hence, the idea for this post was born.
Taking care of your skin is very important. No matter what skin color or tone you have a moisturizer is always essential. I personally use a tinted moisturizer with at least an SPF 15.
Sunscreen is always a must, for men too. It helps ward off premature aging. Tanning is discouraged. I remember at a young age it was fun to lay in the sun with baby oil and or SPF 4, 6 or 8. You should use an SPF 30 + if you plan to be in the sun, and reapply often.
What truly caught my eye from the GA segment was using pure sugar as an exfoliate. I myself experimented over this past weekend and it worked excellent. I used white granulated table sugar; I wet my skin and then placed the sugar over it and scrubbed. My skin was so soft after doing this. I recommend it to all. It is cost effective and natural. I found an interesting article from Livestrong on Brown Sugar as a skin exfoliator .
If you have used either sugar exfoliate please let us know how it worked for you.
Stay tuned for new and exciting things this week...
With appreciation and love,
