“My body needs laughter as much as it needs tears. Both are cleansers of stress." ~ Mahogany SilverRain

Stress is present and bares itself for everyone. If you've taken a course on stress management, as I have, you may be familiar with the term stressor.  According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary,  a stressor is stimulus that causes stress. The stimulus can be sad or happy.  For example, buying a  home is generally a joyful milestone in ones life, it may also come, however, with fear causing stress.  Stress is a normal reaction - what is important is how one deals with their stress.  Stress at one point or another needs to be dealt with and relieved as it is a never ending part of life.  Too much stress and not enough stress relief can cause sickness.

How do you deal with your stress?  Take this short stress management quiz from Women's Day (men don't be scared to take it!) to find out how you manage your stress.  Stress Management Quiz click here.

A couple years ago I had the liberty of attending a stress management  seminar at my employment.  One immediate way to relieve stress is through deep breathing and meditation.  You can shut your office door turn off the lights and pretend you are in a peaceful and sound element breathing deeply.  We practiced a similar exercise in this class and it was so soothing and relaxing.  There are also other natural remedies to stress relief.

Please take the time to review the infographics provided below.  The first is all about stress and the second is all about natural remedies...
