“Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.” ~ Abraham Lincoln

There are many quotes that come to mind when the topic of planning is discussed, some more familiar than others. One iconic quote that sits on the tip of the tongue, "Failing to plan, is planning to fail". One may know what to do, but perhaps they do not know where to start. Ultimately a plan should be devised, if excelling into the future is desired. Keep in mind, when it seems hard to plan, without a plan there is no direction, no future. Have you ever watched someone move forward with an idea you once had and think, I thought of that, what the hell?!? The difference between you and that person was planning.
The topic of planning ahead came to my mind as I search through the format of 365 Days of Health and Fitness, Plus! We currently have over 500 articles and are designing a book. More importantly, I've noticed that a few years back, 365 Days of Health and Fitness included posts introducing the upcoming topics. Writing was more fruitful with planning and in 2014 with no planning the site became stagnant. There is no coincidence that this was due to lack of planning.
We are happy to announce that we are now planning ahead and these are some upcoming topics for May:
Key Essential Oils
Readdressing 30-Day Walk Challenge
One essential item that has been extremely beneficial in planning ahead is an online calendar/planner. I find Google Calendar beneficial because it syncs to the Google Calendar app and I take it everywhere. It also reminds ahead with alerts of appointments, etc. It is an essential planning tool.
